Fitting
You are advised to use a professionally trained fitter
to lay natural flooring in both domestic and contract locations.
All our Recommended Retailers will be able to advise you
on which flooring would be suitable for your designated
area and will also be able to provide experienced and professional
fitters to lay your chosen flooring.
A recommended underlay is always suggested for your flooring
along with a period of acclimatisation prior to fitting.
Care
- Protect your flooring with Intec, the environmentally friendly stain protection solution, which will reduce the impact of liquid spills and prolong the life of your flooring. When ordering your flooring or rug simply ask your retailer to have your flooring protected with Intec.
- Use entry doormats to control the amount of dirt tracked
in and vacuum regularly using a suction only appliance.
- Blot and then clean spots and spills using The Natural
Flooring Care Kit supplied by The Alternative Flooring
Company.
- Avoid applying liquids such as water or carpet cleaner.
- Added protection of a castor chair mat is suggested
if using chairs fitted with castors. Frequent movement
of castors can damage the fibres of the flooring.
